Gone quilting....

Around Christmas I wanted a unique gift for my parents and decided to ask a friend's help in making a quilt. Ever since, I'm afraid I've been bitten by the bug; the quilting bug that is.

I still don't know what I'm doing while flying solo yet, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming.
I've spent the last few nights oogling over fun material and new quilt ideas, all the while, cha-ching cha-ching sounds are going off inside my head.

It's an activity that I can release my creativity in and have something to show for it, but it also puts a nice DING in our pocketbook. That being said, however, A has said he enjoys when I sew because I'm so much nicer in the end. Hmmmmmm.

I saw a few quilts I wanted to start for my children
like this one and this oneUnfortunately, most of the local fabric/quilt stores don't carry the necessary items I'd need! Anyone out there know of some good quilt shops? Or are willing to send me items from my wish list? Pretty please!

Hey, I don't have much stuff I could hand over, but I do have frames, if you ever want to borrow.
I love the pictures, maybe this is something I should do! :)

I am more than happy to help you with the pin wheel quilt, but there is NO way I'm going to help you with the circles! Let's go shopping. We can find some good deals that won't break the bank. Let's get together!
